Customize External Request Form Link

Is it possible to edit the external request form link? The auto generated link is very long and a contains a long chain or random characters.

Hi Alison, welcome to Wrike Community 🙂
Links are not currently editable in Wrike. Can you share a use case of how you are using those links so I've a better idea of how you're using links? The original link is very unique to your Form so it can't be changed or edited.

You can embed them into text in your email or communication, or using a link-shortener tool might be an option too, you can find some online tools to review this option.

I'd also suggest adding a Product Feedback post - that section works on a voting system, and if the feature suggestion gets popular, our Product Team might consider putting the suggestion on the Product roadmap.
Please get back to me if you have any other questions 🙌

This would be a super useful enhancement. We're sharing links company-wide and would really prefer to share URLs that are somewhat meaningful rather than a long string of nonsense without having to use a secondary tool (link shortener). SurveyMonkey does this and we use it HEAVILY. It would also help us more easily differentiate between the different URLs. Hyperlinks in emails are not always reliable, so we want to ensure people can copy+paste the URLs if the hyperlinks fail to come through.

For example I'm sending an email out company-wide tomorrow that has links to two request forms and it would be ideal if one was https://www.wrike.com/frontend/requestforms/index.html?token=MTInternalWebsiteFixes and one was https://www.wrike.com/frontend/requestforms/index.html?token=MTInternalPostRequest rather than two strings of nonsense.

@Alison @Alex I've moved this thread to the Product Feedback section, please make sure to upvote it. I'll be referring other Community members here when they have questions about link editing 👍

Shocked this isn't possible. Why not? The workaround to use an external tool like bit.ly is silly.
