Exclude Completed when Searching

Hi Dawn, I assume you're talking about the box that appears from the search bar. If you click 'enter' or the Search button after you've entered the search terms, it will return results in the centre of your Workspace, you can then filter by any Status you need.

I have this issues as well, and it appears this hadn't ever been fixed.  If it is completed, it is a bit of a no brainer that I don't need to see it come up.  I wish there was a setting that allows me to search using only status NOT complete without all the extra clicks.

Hi Lynn Gagne, the process is a bit simpler now. After entering the name of your task in the search field and hitting Enter, you will see all the results and also the option to select All active tasks:

This way, you can easily filter out completed tasks. I hope this information helps!

Hi Juan!  Yes, I get this. But it would be nice if you DIDNT have all the unnecessary key strokes.  Simply allowing me to filter items in the search box would do it.  I don't know why all the completed items come up. If they are completed......they are completed. Chances are I am not looking for something in the past.  A simple option to set this on my account would suffice.
