More about Product FeedbackIs it possible to just add the link from this same procedure rather than the file embedded only? I would prefer not having the file stored or duplicated in different places.

It doesn't actually store the file there, but instead, the integration adds the location as an attachment so it's easier for people to find. If you attempt to open the Dive or Dropbox link it then redirects you to that drive.
You can use a link from the storage location if you prefer though 👍
Do you know if Dropbox permissions are maintained on files or is it presumed that anyone with the link to that file has access to that file?
Hi Ryan, that's correct. If you upload the document to the task, then anyone who has access to the task can open the file.
If you want control over the permissions i.e. you don't want everyone who has the Wrike task shared with them, to be able to open the file, then I would suggest sharing a link to the document with custom permissions from Dropbox.
