[Status: Not Planned] Printing
I am a little disappointed because I go to a lot of meetings and would like to show my active projects and all I want to do is print a screen like this one.
Yet, I don't have the option of printing it. And if I try to print it, it's horrible and chopped up. And if I export it to Excel it looks really bad. If I try to recreate this through your reports, it takes a while to make the report have the info I want and again it does not print right. Can you bring back the printing ability from this screen.
When closing a job, we must print the comments and description area from within projects and tasks. This was possible until we started using custom item types and turned on some lab beta functions. Why has the print function been removed? How can we achieve this?
Upvote! As we serve many different clients, being able to share reports in PDF would really help adapting our organisation to Wrike.
The work around of printing a snapshot of the report means losing for example the color of the status: is that something that can be fixed?

I agree with everything suggested, but would like to add that when printing task information, ie. '...' > Print it would be great if we had the option to select what we want to print or export to PDF.
For example, all would require the task details for context (Name, ID, Location, Status, Assignees, Dates, Custom Fields) but then have a checkbox that gave us the option to select:
I often do not want the Comments as I'm just looking for the body of the task and any attachments. Right now it is an inefficient process of combined manual data entry outside of wrike, manually printing attachments, and editing out the comments section before saving the document out again.

Keeping this thread alive! My organization is new to Wrike and have selected it as our primary project management platform. Everything so far is great EXCEPT the print capability (or lack thereof). The layout in the UI looks wonderful but there's no easy way to get that output as a print or PDF without loss of quality. For example, using the web browser print function does not work. Text doesn't wrap properly, multi-page reports only show the first page, and the formatting includes everything showing in the browser, not just your report data.
Alternatively, exporting to Excel and then printing adds multiple steps and the layout is not great. I'm almost inclined to just revert to tracking in Excel which is what we were using before getting Wrike.
It baffles me that such a feature-rich product is missing such an essential feature. +1 vote (+100 if I can) to get this elevated.
