Choose to create a task or project based on request question

We use a wide variety of request forms, and need to keep things simple for the form submitters. We have several requests where it would be helpful to either create a single task, or to add addition tasks (create a project) depending on the answer to a question on the form. 

The current work around for this would be two separate request forms. That would mean, multiple request forms for Marketing, Creative, and Development, and not an easy way for submitters to know which request to choose. 

There is an option in the request form build-out to choose a different project template. But this option is only there if the form creates a project (rather than  task). I'd like the ability to create project OR task based on repsonse to the question.
