Line breaks in numbered lists
When adding numbered lists into a task's description field, it would be helpful for us if we were able to include a line break without breaking off the numbered list.
Here's a abstract example of what we would like to be able to do:
- List item
- List item for which I want to include a screenshot
[screenshot on a new line for clarity] - Another list item
some additional information on a new line - My last list item
This might be solved if one of the requests to allow markup or other formatting in the description field gets implemented, but for now I'm making this a separate request.
I was trying to do that this morning. I would like to have a space between the numbered lines, but for now, it looks like the only solution is to keep the list single-spaced. Is there something I'm missing?
This is something that is needed within the description field, especially when creating Knowledge Base articles that need images to detail a process step. I don't like having to add a new list item for every image.
1. Instruction
a. Image
2. Instruction
a. More detail
b. Image
This is not ideal.
I experienced this just today. I want to have a numbered bulleted list, but need to insert some extra detail or images between. I end up having to type in my numbers like the following:
1-Instruction
Image
2-Instruction
More detail
3-Instruction
This would be a very helpful fix.

Hi all. I see this was sent along to the Product team a couple years ago. I still can't find a way to get a line break into a numbered list. I almost always need the line break just so I can break it up visually because we list down a lot of website links in numbered lists. Having them all bunched up together with no spaces between the lines makes it very difficult to follow. But numbers are ideal so that folks can discuss items by link number. Any progress on this line break feature since 2020? Thank you!
