Let assignees unfollow own tasks!

Sometimes we have tasks, in which we prefer to use the checklists instead of subtasks, although there are multiple assignees. After one person has done his part of the job, he furthermore receives notifications for every comment etc. And now we struggle with this fact. There is also no way for an assignee to unfollow the task. Thats a problem. So there are just three suboptimal ways:

1. Deactivate notifications for a folder:
   No way - the person has to get notifications of new tasks in this folder
2. Remove assigned person:
   Also no good way - we have to see, which persons have worked on this task on the first look, without opening the tasks. The person filter for the task-lists would not work in this case too
3. Deactivate notifications in general:
   I think i do not have to explain, why this would be a bad idea.

So: Why not give the user the possibility to be self-determined and let him unfollow a task, which he/she is assigned to?
