Which widgets would you recommend building for a CEO-level Analyze Board?

I have a senior leader who isn't sure about the exact questions to be answered, but wants to see a demo in order to spark further thoughts. We have a complex set of teams, projects, challenges, customers, and success metrics that we're continuing to refine in our Wrike configuration. The greater filtration and formula support in Analyze vs. Dashboards has been helpful for figuring out how to *get* the information. My challenge now is eliciting the questions. Once I show a particular widget, we then get down to refinement and design. It's been difficult to start from the "ask the question" point so I'm trying to anticipate as much as I can.

What I've begun building so far...

  • Projects by customer and related application,
  • Project assignee drilldowns (to show where people are allocated in both cross-functional and intra-team projects)
  • Some early burndown charts (still working through populating the task data for these to be accurate)
  • Running cost/time expenditures for major projects
  • Project health (% completed w/ color-coding) for major projects

What other questions or widgets have been helpful for your senior leaders?

Cynthia Sperry Your "Project Health" as defined above with "% completed w/ color-coding" is what our team calls "Project Progress".  We have custom field we're using at the Project level that we call "Project Health" and we use Red, Yellow, and Green circles (they're emoji's - 🔴 🟡 🟢) as the options.  We use Automations to default any newly created Project to Green, and if a Project becomes Overdue an Automation changes it to Red, but we ask our users to manually change it to Yellow based on their assessment if a Project is at risk of being delayed or not completed on-time.  This allows us to display "Project Health" as a risk metric in reporting.  Our executives always want to see that Green / Yellow / Red category (Pie chart of Projects by Project Health and Pivot Table by Project Health grouping together all the Yellows or Reds, with details).

We WISH that Wrike had capabilities for "conditional custom fields" where if the Project Health changed to Red it would automatically display additional custom fields for the user to complete - this way we could @mention the Assignee using Automation to fill out a "Risk Remediation Plan" custom field (or others) ONLY when it's Red and not have to see those all the time.
