[Duplicate] Create Task from Microsoft Teams Message
Please refer to the main post on this topic here.
We'd love to have the ability to create a task in Wrike from a Microsoft Teams message the same way we can from an email in Microsoft Outlook. As we use the Wrike/Teams integration more, this feature would be really useful. By Meghan
The Slack integration allows for creating tasks through messages. We'd love the same feature for Teams. By Lily Leung
I know our organization would definitely use this feature if implemented as we live in Microsoft Teams all day long. I agree with the other posters; I am a bit surprised this ability is not available given the utilization organizations have with Microsoft Teams. By Byron Gill
Yes please! I get train-of-thought requests from my manager all day every day in Teams and I must get everything into Wrike. There's a high risk of these requests falling through the cracks without this integration. Would love to see this developed by your awesome Wrike team! By Pamela Mayes
I'd like to be able to create a Wrike Task from a Teams chat/post, in the same way I can from within MS Outlook. More often than not, a To Do is required from within a Teams post/chat and if Wrike is your task management app of choice, you want the task to be created in there. by Kim Batina
This feels like a fundamental feature that's required of a task/project management app with integration to Teams. I just started the demo but I'll likely be looking for an alternative because this is a required feature in my mind. by Brian Gilhooly
Please, please, please add this functionality. It's a huge missing component and really disrupts workflow not being able to do this. By Stephanie Passino
This would be a great addition. In my case, I want the ability to create a Task in my Personal Space from a Teams Channel Post and/or Teams Chat Post. I do not believe having a custom Request Form is a good solution for this need. By Michael Maddox
I figured that this can be achieved by created a message extension in Teams which calls a task create action using the Wrike API. The problem here is that Microsoft use the OpenAPI standard to easily create these API calls and Wrike does not have an OpenAPI Description Document for the Wrike API. While I'm sure developers can find a way around this to trigger Wrike API requests from teams, the easiest way is for Wrike to publish an OpenAPI Description Document to make it fairly straightforward for anyone to create the message extension in Teams. Please consider this alternative if there are no plans to develop this integration feature natively. By Hassan Mourad
Yes please! Been waiting for this for a while.
Hi everyone, We kindly ask you to refer to the post here, which contains a similar suggestion. This post is a duplicate of that one. Thank you!

This feature is incredibly important for Microsoft Teams users. Typically, businesses will be a Microsoft house or a Google house, and if Google they will use Slack. Wrike supports Slack users, but not Teams users when it comes to creating Wrike tasks from Teams. Wrike need to acknowledge the Microsoft users and get behind this requirement. Not even on the roadmap for this year sends a message that wrike has no plans to support Teams in the long term. I've been getting notifications for this request for almost 3 years with no forward progress and all of these comments for this feature have fallen on deaf ears.
This is definitely going to be discussed in our renewal conversations.
