Mass edit dashboard widgets
Hi team!
Here again with another piece of product feedback for improving dashboards: it would be extremely helpful if there was a way to bulk/mass edit widgets.
In terms of the UI, a suggestion would be:
- A button along the top menu bar top Select multiple widgets
- This could trigger a checkbox to appear by every widget in the section, which when select, would bring up a side panel with the potential actions to take
In terms of mass edit feature options, some suggestions would be:
- Duplicate
- Delete
- Move to [section within dashboard]
- Move to [other dashboard]
I could definitely see my team and I using this feature if it were possible!
This is a great suggestion!
Another mass feature edit that would save so much time is the ability to select a different data source.
Being able to duplicate the dashboard is immensely helpful, however, we then need to go widget by widget changing the data source. Some of the dashboards have 15+ widgets, so this can be quite time-consuming.

Great idea, I didn't even think of that! I have definitely found myself in a similar situation having to update multiple data sources across multiple widgets! Thanks for your contribution to this suggestion :)
