How to filter out just @ mentions?
Hello,
I'm looking for a way to see @ mentions. As of now, there doesn't seem to be an "easy" way to see only @ mentions.
Use Case: Director uses Wrike primarily to give quick internal file reviews. When we @ mention the director to firm up an answer, the notification gets buried in her inbox.
- Why Inbox is challenging: Several team members use Wrike only as approvers. However, because they are approvers, their Wrike inboxes quickly fill up with all kinds of notifications that don't apply to their workflow, such as notifications about Guest Reviews, notifications about cancelled approvals, and more. The @ mentions get lost, so they don't see when we're trying to talk to them.
- Stream view: Again, too much information
How can we see only the @ mentions? Help! Communication overload over here!
It would be great to have better filtering in the streams and Inbox. If the email filters in settings applied to the inbox as well that would be great.
Hi Emily Lillya, thank you for creating this post, I've shared your feedback with our Product Team 👍 At the moment, the closest solution would be using the global stream view, but I see why this might not be ideal for you, as you mentioned in your comment.
Russell Sprague thank you for supporting this idea!
Hi Emily Lillya,
You could change the users' individual email preferences to only receive an email notification if someone @ mentions them, making them the only emails they'd receive from Wrike:
We also use a custom space-wide widget on New Dashboards with settings configured to the current user to manage approvals, which means we can look at that widget for anything waiting on our approval, which reduces communication noise, and may also be helpful for your approvers:
Jess Cuddy Thanks! We are using these workarounds, but we really need a place with @ mentions
