Can custom item types from the Create Space templates be used outside the template?

I explored the Creative Production space template and love some of the custom item types for Creative, Social Creative, Photo, etc. Is there a way to use those CITs without creating a new Creative Production space? We already have spaces set up for our Web, Design, and Photo-Video teams, so not really looking to set up a whole new space from the template, but would like to incorporate those CITs from the template into our existing spaces.
