Is it possible to count days in a month that has not yet started?

I created a report to multiply hours in a day and the number of days in the month to result in the total hours in the month. However, when carrying out the calculation, it only adds the days in which the analyst indicated hours in a task and not the days on the calendar. I verified that the data source that brings this data is Utilization and Performance, as it can obtain the calendar data.

In the report, I would like to show how many hours are expected for the month of November. For example, November will have 20 working days. Each day, each analyst must work 7 hours. Each analyst must have 7 hours a day * 20 days = 140 hours of work available in the month of November. Is there a way to make this calculation leaving the 140 hours the same for all analysts?

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi Felipe Jorge Poço, thank you for reaching out!

I've consulted our Wrike Analyze experts, and here's the proposed solution:

You can use User Work Schedule Date as your date dimension and one of the following options as work hours:

  • SUM(User Work Schedule Working Hours) (in case the users have their schedules correctly set up in Wrike -> i.e. following their actual schedule and 7h of daily work)
  • (COUNT([Days in User Work Schedule Date]), [User Work Schedule Workday]) * 7 (in case their scheduled work days are correct in Wrike, but the hours differ and shouldn't/can't be adjusted) - with User Work Schedule Workday set as a filter (true)
  • (COUNT([Days in User Work Schedule Date]), [User Work Schedule Week Day]) * 7 (in case their scheduled work days don't match the schedule in Wrike) - with User Work Schedule Week Day set as filter on the correct days.

Could you please let me know if that's helpful?

Hi Lisa , good morning!
I hope you are well!

I used the suggestions from Wrike Analyze experts, however, I got the same result. For example, the month of October had 21 working days here in Brazil. Since each of our analysts works 7 hours a day, we have 7 x 21 = 147.
It turns out that, if the analyst fails to indicate hours on some of these days, it is as if the analyst's month has fewer working days.
Below I send a print of what the pivot base looked like with the updated calculations. It is possible to verify that the analyst indicated by the red arrow had 7 hours less, as she did not indicate hours on a specific day. And I would like to show that everyone had the same 147 hours available that month.

Is it possible to get these same 147 hours for all analysts?
