How to create reports/dashboards for controlling projects profitability?

Dear Team,

I hope this post finds you well.

I am pretty new on using Wrike and I am exploring capabilities and options on our Wrike account.

I am trying to get a report/dashboard for displaying the profitability of our projects.

In order to achieve so, I have defined several customer-fields (some input fields and some formulas) in the Wrike tool.

They are working very well in the table display mode of each single project.

The problem comes when I am trying to display such information in Reports or Dashboard as the customer-fields can be used as FILTERING options but they cannot be displayed.

The idea for using Dashboard or Reports is because I am trying to show this information at high-level managers without needing to navigate to each single project for getting the "profitability" report BUT I do not see any option to do so.

Would you kindly help me on this topic?

Is it something that could be included in a later release?

In my humble opinion, Wrike is a powerful tool but it has a limitation on this topic. Do you see the same way?

Thank you very much in advance,

Kindest regards,

Xavier Rovira Rojas - I think you can do what you want with Reports. Here's a report I'm using to show monthly savings of our continual improvement program. It's pulling data from our continual improvement space. Use the Table layout. Group and Filter as appropriate. Here's what I did:

This is what it looks like:

Each custom field has a default aggregation - this will be how you can get the formula you want for the data you want to report.

I'm hoping that helps. Otherwise, send me some screenshots or more details and we'll see if we can do what you want.

Thank you very much Mike Fank, it looks like a good idea (or at least how I understand it).

I was trying to get the calculated fields (Formulas) used in the reports but it might be not a bad idea having a "currency" field in the header of each project and having the project owner maintaining such fields in a kind of Project Header :)

It does not sound bad and I will explore it with our management :)

Thank you very much for your reply and please excuse me for my late response, it has been hectic the last couple of weeks :)
