Adding Prefix to subitems created from blueprint via automation
I'm excited about the automation options to create subitems from blueprints and already have a use case. But I find the Add a Prefix option to be lacking.
When the status of the parent task changes to complete and if a certain custom field is x, create a subitem from this blueprint. There is a spot to add a prefix, but what I want is to add the prefix of the parent task name the automation is running on. The blueprints include the title of the subtask so adding a blanket prefix doesn't make sense. It should dynamically pull from the task it's added to.
Hey Ashleigh Brummund, I'm wondering if a recent update in automation can help in your case?

I just created a help ticket requesting the same thing.
It would be very helpful to allow both the Name and Prefix fields to be inherited from the trigger project when creating a new project from a blueprint via automation.
Example would look something like this:
Currently the name and prefix must be manually entered which greatly decreases the utility of using an automation to perform this action because our Projects space will be flooded with projects named [insert default blueprint name here] whenever a Sales quote has been completed
