Automated repeating reminder messages

Hi guys,

I'm currently using Automation rules to remind assignees, followers etc that tasks have been sitting on a 'Deferred' status and I have a couple of questions:

  • Can we have additional timescales other than 'calendar days' for triggers? It would be nice to be able to just say '12 weeks' or '3 months' here:
  • How do people make these rules repeating? I'd like to have one of these that repeats every quarter to force some action and whittle down our task list, but as far as I'm aware I need to create a new rule for every repetition of the reminder, e.g. 84 days, 168 days, etc. I have done this but it seems silly and I can't make 100s of rules just for this...

At the moment days are the only available time unit in automation rules and in case you need to trigger two mentions to your users it would be necessary to create two rules, as you described.
