Don't Update Request Form Link When Changes Made to Form
It would be awesome if a request form you have published and shared the link to with others outside of your Wrike work space didn't update/change every time you made an update to the form. The link to the request form remained the same regardless of changes made.
If we update a request form or make changes to it after already publishing and sharing the link we have to then send another link to the company to the newly updated form. Unfortunately, it makes it impossible to post the necessary request form links to our company's Intranet if we might have to make changes to the link when we revise the forms. Thanks!
Hi Sidney, thanks for your question here, it's a good one! Due to a security feature built into Request forms, a new link is provided for every edit you make.
However, the original link will still work so there is no need to find and update the link when you've made a change to the form.
Any questions on this, let me know.
we have a shortcut icon in a shared drive which we just update every time we change the request form (and a new link is generated).
What I'm wondering is this -- is there some way to disable links to old versions of a given request form? I've had some users who bookmarked the form in their web browser save themselves a trip to the company network drive, but as a result, they are now pointing to an out of date form.
Is there any way to disable old versions?
Is there an easy way to find that original link for the form?
Hi Jen Kneeland, sorry for the late reply here! Please let me know if you'd like me to raise a Support ticket for you so that the team could advise.
