File Tagging and Access
Wrike allows you to tag tasks so they sit in multiple locations, but I can't find a way to do the same with files. So we end up uploading the same files to multiple tasks because different users need access or we still need to reference a file after a task is completed.
It would be great if file management had its own database access structure so you could tag a file to multiple tasks instead of having to reupload.

Hi Lesley, quick update. You can now create a file Widget based on a Project. I think this meets your request - please let me know what you think.
You can find more information here on the Knowledge Base 👍
Thanks, Stephen. I'll certainly try it out. But I can't think of a workflow that that functionality improves for us. We have many, multiple projects with quick turnarounds and often can't find files that get lost in completed tasks. Creating a new widget for each of 5-10 new projects daily and updating and closing them out is not reasonable for us.
I agree with Lesley's initial feature request. In our work flow people are assigned to just the tasks they are responsible for. For example:
We have design tasks that are dependent on the copywriting. Once copywriting is finished and uploads their final file to their task, it would be great to have the ability to tag the file to show up on dependent tasks.
I know Projects have a "File" view, but that also shows files that aren't directly related to the task you're assigned to.
Hello everyone! Our Product team is now researching potential future enhancements for file management in Wrike. Please check out this post and share your views (it's in our brand new forum called "Betas and More") 🙂 Thank you again for your feedback 🙌
