Status mother task

Hi,

if we have a mother task with sub-tasks to it, the mother task is shown on the "todays work" which is really just a gathering task point for the sub-tasks... Whats the best way to kind of remove these mother tasks for the listing of todays work for example?

Or, will this be the wrong way of using Wrike tasks?

Hi Jan, thanks for your question. There's no right or wrong way to use tasks once you're achieving your goals!

In this instance, the best way for you to manage your tasks is using Dashboards. Once you set up a Dashboard, you can add a widget showing only tasks 'assigned to me', so you will only see tasks which you, or somebody else, has assigned to you. This will exclude the parent tasks you mentioned. We have this option as a pre-built widget so it's easy to set up.

Take a look at the below GIF on how exactly to make this widget and if you have any questions, I'm here to help!
