Hi Carlos, thanks for sharing your idea on the Community! :)
This would be a great feature.
We are constantly having to save a screenshot locally and then upload it to the task. Would be really handy if we could copy and past from the snipping tool or drag and drop a file from desktop to the task.
I support this, +1ย
I support this as well +1
My team and I have to do this nearly every single day!
This would be a great feature. It would save time & mild irritation!
This is one of my top gripes with Wrike at the moment
come on guys from WRIKE this is basic stuff and allows us to be very productive how many requests you guys need to make this happen??????ย WE NEED THIS ASAP! THIS IS A BASIC FUNCTION WE ALL NEED AND ARE REQUESTING AGAIN ASAP!
Hi all, you can drag and drop images to a task's comment section, and copy and paste an image into the description to save as an attachment on the task. I've made the below GIFs to illustrate both options. Any questions, let me know ๐

@Stephen Orowe, that is helpful, but going directly from a the cliboard to a Wrike comment is what we're wanting. I use a utility for Windows called Greenshot that allows me to take a screenshot and quickly annotate it. I can then save to a file, copy to clipboard, or many other things. In most cases, my annotations aren't worth saving to a fileย and are only needed for adding a comment in Wrike. It adds a few steps to save it to a file, navigate to the file, import it into a comment in Wrike, delete the file.
Thanks for this update @Stephen Orowe , but the copy/paste option does not seem to be working for me. If I right click in the description area, the Paste option is grayed out (can't click on it).
Also, will we be able to copy/paste to the comments as well, and not just the description?
That's nothing new. You always were able to attach an image in the comments. The point is to paste a screenshot..ย so you dont have to save the image and then choose an image...
Hi all, I understand the above drag and drop and paste from file options are not exactly what you're looking for here. Pasting from the clipboard is something on our Product Team is discussing internally and the feedback here is very valuable to that conversation.
Please continue to upvote the first original post and comment your use cases to help with this feedback process and once I have more information I'll provide updates for you here.
@Andy, this shouldn't be happening when pasting in the description area, once you have copied the required image file. I've raised a ticket with our Support Team to take a look at this with you to see what's happening. Thanks all!
Iย would like this feature also . It would save some time
Me too! Jing user.

I use the "paste into description then immediately delete so it sticks in comments"ย workaround but that leaves an unwanted "updated description" because of it.ย

Still, it's better than nothing for now and faster than saving screenshot on disk then clicking on the attach, then from computer, then finding the image, then clicking on ok. method.

New Wrike user here, and I agree, this would be hugely beneficial to many folks' workflows!
This will safe us a lot of time. We are using snipping tool and there is no solution to copy/paste the screenshot into the comments or drag &drog. Now we need to save the screenhot on the computer.
We really needย this feature too, as we are used to do so in Outlook massages.ย It would save so much time without saving the image on computer first. Thanks !
We at SparkFun Electronics would really love to be able to paste in images (from clipboard) into a comment. We do design reviews as comments in a task, and sometimes a picture with arrows is the best way to get a point across. I personally use the windows Snipping tool, and can quickly screenshot something and draw a couple arrows or highlight.
Also, it's easier for the primary designer to read the reviews, because they don't have to reference an image attachment at the top of the task window or click on the attachment link. We love how github handles this in their comments. We do a lot of reviews in with screenshotsย on github as well. If you could mimic how they do it for their "issues" feature (with a write and preview tab), that would be killer. THANKS!!
I support this feature being added +1
I agree, this is essential, it would save us a lot of time. +1
Please add this ASAP.. This is a vital feature
ย
+1 for this feature.
Totally agree.ย Please add this.
That would be definitely enough for me :)
@Adam That may be one of the best-photoshopped screenshots I've seen.ย
This feature was shut off in previous company for a couple days and just about the entire digital delivery team lost their mind! VERY user friendly option.ย
I cannot believe this is not current feature and we are up voting it here. Just image the number of man hours this saves and the peace of mind it gives. An Absolute need
Any update on the status of this request?
