No. of Task Count on Dashboard Widget

Hi Jay, thanks for adding this request to the Community forums! I think that could be useful, and I'm also really eager to learn about your use case for it. What kinds of widgets do you usually include in your Dashboards?

Hope you are doing well!

I do simple case, for an example you have a folder saying "Module 1" and in which there are 10 task items.

Now, what I do is go to the "Module 1" folder, click on three dots top right corner and "Add To Dashboard" > my to do list

after adding you can be able to see a widget on your dashboard with Title and I want a total number of count besides Title like this "Module 1 (10)".

And one more point, this is just a simple way of adding widget you also need to consider multiple conditions / filters and same, click on three dots top right corner and "Add To Dashboard" > my to do list.

Jay, thank you for following up! So, basically, it sounds like you want to see how many to-do items you have for different modules?

Please see attached photo.

The thing is widget either created by using the folder or any kind of custom filters result.

Let me know if you had still query for this good enhancement where people don't search/go into the folder to just find out the count.

Hi Jay, the screenshot is so helpful, thank you! I use Dashboards and widgets a lot, so personally, love this idea. We'll share this with the team internally and send others here to +1 the idea if they're looking for something similar.

Please add this option! It would be extremely helpful to be able to see the count per team member as well.

Hi everyone, we just recently released a new version of Dashboards which have this information! So you can now see a counter at the top of each widget letting you know how many tasks are currently in that widget. 🕺
