Free account - no such thing it seems!
Having signed up for what I thought was a free account, it seems it is only free for 14 days.
This is a very misleading way to present and market something and frankly, the legality is questionable.
Has any one else found this to be the case?
Hi Simon, I see that our Support team has already reached out to you but wanted to reply on here as well. We do have a free account but we also have trial options for different plan types. Your account has already been switched to free but please let me know if there's anything I can help with.
how can I sign in for a free account?
Hi Hazel, first off welcome to the forums 😄
Since you're on a trial (and it looks like you're the account owner) you can switch your account to free. To do this:
Let me know if you have any questions!
Hi :) I have the same problem. I think I am on free plan, because i don´t have button "Purchase subscription" but "Update subscribtion". Does that mean I am on free plan and not of free trial? :) Thanks.
Would be nice for it to be clearer how to get a free plan
My trial expired and i'm trying to figure out how to get to the Account Management button to downgrade to a free account, but the only button I CAN press when I get onto Wrike is "Purchase subscription". Clicking anywhere else outside of the modal doesn't do anything, so my only option is to click on "Purchase subscription"...
If I get this correctly, you have to sign up for a paid plan in order to downgrade to a free plan?
Someone in marketing came up with this beauty of a scheme right?
This doesn't pass the sniff test, I would rather clean out a cat box than sign up for your free service in this manner.
Best of luck with your company's reputation introducing yourself to new users in this manner.
Hi Douglas Wade Goodall, this is not the case! I'll clarify things further;
When you select "Purchase Subscription" in the Subscription section of your Account Management view, you do not need to input any billing details to avail of the free account. Once the option for 5 users is selected, a link to downgrade your account to a Free one appears in the top right. There is no point where you will have to exchange any payment to convert your account into a Free one.
Hope this clears things up! If you have any other questions, let me know.
Thank you for the instruction - it is far from clear though with the paid ones sitting front and centre - took a few looks to find the link for the free option
