Each assignee must complete the task

I want to create a task list of 50+ tasks, let's call it a "master list". Then, I need to share that task list with 31 operations managers so that they can track their individual progress against the list (the operations managers do not need to see each other's progress). Since I am maintaining the "master list", I can always add/edit tasks and those adds/edits would be reflected on the lists of the 31 operations managers.

I tried doing this by assigning multiple assignees to a task but that functionality allows any assignee to complete the task as opposed to each assignee completing the task.

How can I accomplish the above?

Bumping this up again, since it's been almost 6 years since this original post, with no resolution, despite being fairly logical and something that would be useful in a whole host of scenarios. I appreciate the ideas for workarounds presented in this thread, but none seem ideal for reasons already outlined by some above. Creating subtasks is possible, but is impractical if you have a large number of assignees, and even a small number creates needless layers where information could get lost. The approvers workaround in particular seems like it could get confusing, both because it doesn't allow the same ability for individuals to track their progress via the status, but also because if a group task also requires approval by other folks or even those same folks at a different stage in the process, it could become confusing what is being asked. It also means that for folks like me, who have dashboards to track my to do-list, something that's categorized as an approval but is in fact a normal task might not show up where I need it to and get lost in the shuffle.

In essence, created dedicated functionality would be greatly appreciated!

I would also like to bump this thread. As I consider rolling Wrike out to the larger company, we need a streamlined option to have multiple people assigned to a task, that task showing in each person's to-do list, and each person being able to mark their instance of the task complete.

It is overly complicated to ask new users to create a sub-task list with an item for each individual and there are many use cases where copying from a template and having multiple instances of a schedule is not practical.

There are other software options that do have this capability and it seems to be a recurring need for your current clients.

I am bumping this thread. I have used other tools that require everyone to finish the task before the task actually completes. So if there are 3 people assigned to the task and one person finishes their work they mark their task complete and progress moves to 33% complete...and then when another finishes their work they mark complete and the progress moves to 66% complete. It's only when the 3rd person finishes their work and mark complete the task is actually completed. Note that all 3 assignees would work concurrently...not sequentially.

Is this something that could be added to the product map?

Hello,

I am also just finding out about this issue also and we are in very early stages of deployment. I have assigned the training tasks across our leadership team to find that when one person marks as complete it marks all staff assigned as complete. I need all staff to complete these and track individually.

Can you not implement a system where if i do have multiple assignees all completing the same task I can track on an individual basis rather than having to assign the same tasks individually on multiple occasions? It seems like this would be the simplest solution and I am surprised it i snot already set up this way.
