Enable Hyperlink option in Table cells under Description Field

I have a suggestion to enable hyperlink option inside the table cells under the description field. Also, there should be text formatting options in the comment box at least the text highlight and text bold option should be there.

Raising this one from the dead!👻

Why:

Tables are an excellent way to organize this information for recall at a glance. Many of our Users need to quickly reference any one of many possible links while onsite with our clients.  It would be so great for our mobile app users to quickly find and click a link to things like

  • A table of tracking numbers for different inbound shipments
  • A table of links to the Issues (tasks in Wrike) pertaining to the client.
  • A table of links to our process documents or reference tools

Current Workaround:

We just put the information in the table and then create a separate set of links underneath the table.

We also thought of just putting the links in as plain text in the table and asking people to copy/paste, but the links are just too valuable on the ground.

Suggestion:

It seems like a pretty simple feature to add that could yield a lot of different use cases.  I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned more!

Hey there, I have good news - you can now create a new table or copy a table from any place outside of Wrike and paste it into the description field. Details on how to do it are on our Help Center. Please note that the updated description field is currently being rolled out and not yet available on all accounts. All accounts created before 08/24/18 have the current live editor. Let me know if you have any questions 🙂

@Lisa

Thanks for the update, but...

When I paste a table containing hyperlinks in it's cells into a Wrike description window, it still converts the links to plain text😭😭
