I agree with Chris. I understand it's not always possible to keep EVERY feature; however, it seems that too many critical features were left out. I'd recommend starting with restoring these feature...

It would be ideal if there was a filter you could turn on and off to show or hide dependent tasks - similar to how you can filter tasks and only show what's due this week, this month, etc.
