Predecessors have vanished

I have planned out blueprints, with all predecessors assigned for my team. However all these predecessors at task level have vanished over night?  Any reasons? Anyone seen this or similar before?

Thanks.  Maybe its me then because I am also an admin user.... Historically in the old world it was a simple drag and drop, now however I am provided with a no entry when trying the same
