Do you have this checked in your profile? (Upper right corner dropdown > Profile Settings > Email Addresses (right column) > Scroll down to bottom

There is a slight loophole with @mentions. If you make a comment and @mention yourself (along with others), you yourself do not receive any notifications from it (Incoming Inbox, email, nothing). I...
