They just put out an updated version that now auto-corrects the dependency if you remove the lead/lag value as well as any other task dependent on that task that was moved.  So now it looks like it...

I did test this new function and believe I've found a bug... at least from my perspective (and I've reported it) If I add +5 to the end of an existing dependency, it does move the tasks out 5 days....
