[Use Case Templates] Process Management 👩💻
❗️Note: Please make sure you’ve checked out our announcement about the changes related to the Use Case Templates in Wrike. In short, the Wrike’s Use Case templates are now available in the Space creation dialogue instead of Wrike Assistant.
Hello Community! 😊
Today, we’d like to introduce to you one of Wrike’s onboarding templates in the “Basic” section of the template gallery - Process Management. This template can come in handy for those who are starting to use Wrike for work management, or if you’re helping others onboard to Wrike. Also, if you’re already using Wrike but aren’t managing processes in it yet, the template can give you a simple example of how to get started with process management in the platform.
Using Wrike’s Onboarding Templates
Just a quick reminder that account owners and admins on Business and Enterprise accounts and account owners on Professional accounts can access the Onboarding Templates gallery through Wrike Assistant.
The Process Management template consists of a folder that contains two Projects - Process Optimization project and Process Roll-out project. Each of these projects consists of folders that represent stages and include a number of tasks.
Both projects - Optimization and Roll-out - have the same stages:
- Design
- Modeling
- Execution
- Monitoring
- Optimization
However, the task list may be different depending on whether you’re optimizing or rolling out a process.
For example, the Design stage in the Optimization projects consists of the following tasks:
- Define new process success criteria
- Prepare new process model
Tip! Because a task is considered an action item in most cases, it’s a good idea to start its title with a verb: “define”, “prepare” etc.
And here’s how this stage looks like in the Roll-out project:
- Consider alerts and notifications
- Define new process success criteria
- Define task hand-over mechanisms
- Identify external dependencies
- Visualize process flow
- Write out standard operating procedures
Are you managing processes in Wrike yet? If not, or in case you have any questions about this use case, make sure to let us know 👍

This is very similar to the template we are using right now. I look more into this!
We haven't used Wrike for process management however this is definitely something to look into especially as we look at ways to become more efficient with short staffing issues.
I don't know if this structure it's a methodology that must respect the stages proposed. If yes, than we're not using it... LOL
But if not, we're creating the onboarding for new team members and it's quite similar to this hierarchy. :-)
Thank you for introducing this topic. Haven't thought about the onboarding templates yet.
Thank you for reaching out, everyone! That's the point of this series - to share and discuss some new ideas on how we can use Wrike 🤗

I haven't used Process Management in Wrike, but I'm always eager to learn new things!
Very similar to our process improvement tracking we utilize with our Lean management training/methodology. I will take a look at this template to see what we can learn.
This is terrific - I may have to explore this one further!!
We haven't used Wrike for process management but it is something I will look into more.
Glad to hear this is helpful, everyone! 🙌

While I don't have access to the templates, what we have set up company-wide looks similar to the template in the example.
It doesn't look like my company has access to templates. What subscription are they part of?
we kind of use it this way, but not with the numbers. could be helpful to see it in GANNT
Very nice, looking forward to investigating this in more depth!
Thank you, everyone! 😊
Tracey Perry Currently, they can be accessed by account admins through Wrike Assistant. But we'll be soon announcing a change to how they are accessed, so please stay tuned 😊
Ashley Fischer As I just mentioned to Tracey here, we'll be soon announcing a change to how and by whom they can be accessed 👍
