How are Blueprints different from creating task/project/folder templates and duplicating them?

I am looking at the Blueprint functionality, and don't really see how it's any different from our current practice of creating a set of templates for projects/folders/tasks we frequently use, and then duplicating them (or having them generate on submission of a request).  Am I missing something?

Whitney, when you use the new Blueprint functionality, you gain the ability to assign tasks and then modify them as much as you like, while you build out your template - all of this without this notifying the assigned persons that anything is going on.  This allows project managers to develop templates in a kind of sandbox, and the users are not bothered with notifications about activity (which can be VERY annoying to your user base!)

I'm new to Wrike!  Can you build a blueprint within a space?

Hi Kelly Ostrowski, welcome to the Community!

At the moment, blueprints live in a separate section, but it's planned by our team to move them to the space level. We'll keep you posted here on the Community 👍
