[From Wrike] Progress and Reporting Automation Updates 🔥

Выделено

Hi Community 🙂

Today, we are very happy to bring you the latest (very cool) enhancements for Wrike’s Automation! 🤖

⚡️ Automation trigger: When ANY subitem’s status changes, change parent’s status

We know it’s vital to be able to report accurately on the progress of work, so we’re excited to say that our new addition to status-based triggers is here to help!

It’s now possible to not only change the parent status when statuses of all subitems change to a specific status, but also to do it when ANY subitem changes to a specific status 💡

For example, you have a parent task with the Not Started status. The task has several subtasks. What you can do now is automatically change the parent task’s status to, for example, In Progress, if any of the subtasks has this status!

⚡️Automation actions: Duplicate item, Duplicate as subitem

Our library of actions also becomes more diverse with two new available actions: you can now duplicate items or duplicate as subitems with the triggers of your choice!

AND (ICYMI) - we recently just released: Creation of items and subitems as well as creation of items and subitems from Blueprints. There’s a whole new world of Automation to explore! 🌍

We really hope you enjoy these updates! Please share your feedback and tell us how you plan to use the new trigger and actions below 👇

The duplicate item automation action is a good step forward. But what I am missing: to be able to choose the triggering task as the one which is copied. So no fixed task, but the possibility to trigger an automation by a task o be set in a specific status and then to make a copy from itselff, add a prefix (or postfix) and set it to a specific status, set an assignee, ....

Hi!

The automation "When ANY subitem’s status changes, change parent’s status" works fine without condition.

If I add conditions with custom column fields, it doesnt work anymore.

Could you fix this? :)
