How to get around request form limitations?
I am curious if anyone has found any workarounds for the limitation of only being able to choose one project to duplicate from on a request form. Currently my company uses separate forms for every single request type, but with 20+ forms and 200 active Wrike users spread across various teams in the organization, people get actively frustrated with having to scroll through the list of all these request forms.
What I would like to do is something along these lines. Instead of having 4 request forms for various types of marketing content, I would like to combine them into a single request form called something like "Marketing Content Creation Request". The request form would ask them what the request is for and the choices are "Advertisement", "Blog Post", "Customer Story", or "Social Post". Depending on which of these options they select, I would like to use a different blueprint (or starting project to duplicate from) to ensure that all the tasks/subtasks are accurate for that request type (we already have these projects setup and in use with each of their individual request forms).
It would be great if the request form would let us choose different projects to duplicate in the logic part of the request form, instead of forcing the entire request form to have a single starting point for the project generation.
I am wondering if anyone else has ran into this situation before, and if so, what your solution was.
We do this on several request forms. We have the form start with a page that has any information that would be used with all of the requests then add a drop down with each type of project you want to create. Then we have the drop down replace the blue print that the request is set too with the correct blue print for the type of project needed as well as forward the user to a page in the request that has the user fill in any additional information needed.
Thank you Greg! Not sure why I didn't actually try doing that before. I just tested it out and was afraid it still wouldn't solve my entire problem (because I wanted it to also redirect to different spaces), but it appears that I can set up an automation rule to move it to a different space.
We assign users to specific groups and only share request forms that are relevant to them.
