Microsoft Teams Integration: Post your Feedback ๐ฌ
Weโve recently worked with Microsoft to deliverย new features and functions throughout the Microsoft Teams chat interface.ย Now, you can create Wrike tasks, manage your Projects, view your Timeline and receive Wrike notifications, all within MS Teams.
As always, we would love to hear your experience using this new functionality, so please post your feedback as a comment below๐
For more information check out MS Teams Integrationย blog article and theย Microsoft Teamsย Help Centre Article.
ย
Stephen this functionality is AMAZING and we LOVE LOVE LOVE it.ย However, we desperately need the ability to filter the tasks.ย Especially to only see active tasks, get them in date order ,etc.
Also the ability to generate request forms in teams would be huge.ย If that was integrated our business development team could do everything they need to for wrike within microsoft teams
Thanks for the feedback Ivan, it's great to hear you're getting such great use from integration. Your feedback on enhancements is so important to us too so thanks for sharing! I've made the relevant Product Team aware of this post and will get back to you here any new information as I have it ๐
Thanks Stephen!
It would also be very useful to be able to choose which notifications Wrike posts in Teams. When we are setting up new projects it is not useful to receive notifications for every new task or date change. Thank you for your help!
Hi,ย
I am trying out Wrike as in integration within Microsoft Teams, I have a project in Teams already created and full of tasks. A great feature would be to be able to add an already existing folder of tasks in Teams into Wrike. I am in need to be able to view my tasks in a Ganttย chart.ย Teams doesn'tย offer any options to view your task in a Gantt chart. Wrike the closest product I have found.ย
Would like to see all the features ( e.g. Gantts chart etc ) that are available in Standalone Business/Professional subscription of Wrikeย in Microsoft Team. Then it will become one stop shop for all our project management and scheduling needs.

Hi Stephen,
Quick up on this thread with some+1 and questions:
Our company is going fully to MS Teams and obviously I went testing the Wrike integration.
ย
Getting here to see planned improvements and roadmap, and knowing Wrike Feedback tools:
ย
2. +12 000 for the abilities to filters tasks within MS Teams
Especially filter by users - or at least "my tasks only" would be key for helping people executing
indeed, if I connect to MS teams, I eventually want to focus on my tasks only
ย
3. + 12000 on the Request Form too
this would be simply amazing. Period.
ย
4. Additonal question: at one points, does the tasks would be integrated with MS planner too? this would just bridge fully the gap and would be simply exceptionnal - here i am really doubtfull..
ย
thanks in advance and looking forward for all development and some answers
keep going the good work

Hi Julien,
1. We try to consolidate all feedback in one place so our team can easily find all feedback per feature when reviewing for enhancements. If there is a particular item you'd like to discuss in more detail please feel free to start a Product Feedback post of your own. All posts in this section are reviewed by the relevant Product Team.
2.ย I like this idea, and it makes sense so I'll be sure to highlight this thread with the Product Team again.
3. There are no immediate plans to integrate to MS Planner, though our team is open to ideas about digging deeper into integrations. We do have an MS integration via Zapier which doesn't offer this fully, might be of interest to you.
Thanks for your votes and use-cases, it really helps our team when planning any updates ๐
Hi Stefen
It's very usful to integrate Wrike in Teams, Thanks for the DEV.
Is it possible to sort task by date (ASC-DESC)?
Thanks in advance
Lionel
Integration would be great if it wouldnt be just one account per org. We are 10000+ employees world wide with multiple business lines so we would need many different accounts.
how can i create a integration with teams?
@Leonardo Hey, thanks for reaching out and sorry for the long reply here.
Please check out the instructions in our Help Center article on Microsoft Teams. Let me know if you have any questions about the instructions ๐

Echoing Henning Steinbach's comment above, we also operate multiple Wrike accounts and a single O365 org. We need to be able to choose which account to use when setting up the Wrike app in a Team.
ย
Good afternoon,
I am using Wrike for the first time within Microsoft Teams app and I love it!ย Itย was really what I was lookingย for my Project.
Still, there is one thing I wouldย need improved.
I am writing the tasks of a project that started in December 2018 as so, some meetings/phases/events have already been completed.
The problem is that if I register a task as completed it does not show in the timeline view but I need to see it. How can I solve it? Can I have visibility for completed tasks?
ย
Best regards,
Maria Ana
Would like the ability to filter as well. We added a project that has subprojects from Wrike to a channel on Teams, so it shows the 100+ tasks on Teams which isn't very ideal. We have to scroll through the whole list to find the tasks we are assigned to. Filtering by assignee or status would be great.
The Teams integration is great so far, but what I really need to have in there is the ability to also bring in my Dashboards. The team members in my group use the projects and tasks functionality, but my management teams really need quick access to the custom Dashboards we have made in our account that help them see overall status across many projects. Is this functionality in the integration in the works?ย
ย
Also, are we getting 'Table view' any time soon in projects? It is a favorite on my team.
Thanks!
Hi Sarah Melanson-Spevak, the team is currently working on implementing Dashboards! And as for Table view, could you provide a use case for this? It would help our Product team when they discuss future updates ๐
There are some really important things missing from the Teams integration.
the first is the ability to add start and end dates when creating a new project.ย Also being able to choose a space for that project to live in would be nice as well
The most important missing feature for me is time tracking in Teams.ย I love being able to see my tasks in teams, but it becomes an almost useless feature since I can't track my time spent on those task right from Teams.ย ย
ย
I would love the ability to create a task from within Teams to Wrike without needing to use the "share to Outlook" and send to wrike@wrike.com in order to feed the initial task. Other systems, such as Teamwork, have this integration available. I would like Teams to feed Wrike from any channel, rather than use Teams as a view in to tasks based on a space or project.
Thank you for letting us know your feedback, Eric Lansbery!ย

We would like to have wrike notifications sent to Microsoft Teams instead of E-mail Notifications.ย It would be great to have the same configurability as E-mail Notifications.ย I am surprised that you rely on E-mail as many organizations are much more chat focused.
Thank you for letting us know your feedback Brad Forsyth, I'm passing it on to the Product team ๐

Hi, did you made any progress in enhancing the filter capability of the wrike tab app?
In addition, for saving some time, it would be nice Wrike aligns the app to what some other solution are doing, allowing to convert a message into a comment in an existing task or to create a new tasks from the "more options > more actions" menu of a message.
Example with a screenshot:
thx a lot

Hi Julien Thiery, thank you for reaching out! I don't have an update for the MS integration, but I'm passing your feedback on to the Product team ๐

Our teams would love to be able to sort tasks the way we want in MS Teams. Currently within the Wrike MS Teams integration, the task order is by default sorted using the priority mode within List view. My teams doesn't actively use priority mode so tasks are showing up with odd date sequences in the "My Work" dashboard view. May, June, April, Jan.ย
It seems that the default when you pull in a project is only a list view and timeline. That's great, but to be truly useful, I need the Table, Board and Analytics views as well. Dashboards would also be super, but honestly the Board view would be a game changer. Is anyone from Wrike working on any of these things, and if so, potential timelines?
ย
I would like to install the teams integration for use with our Wrike platform, but I am unable to do so at this time. I work at a university and they only allow apps to be turned on and used that have been certified by Microsoft 365. Is this something you have in the works or on the roadmap for the future? Looks to have a lot of the features we want and need, just can't get access.
