Afixado Em destaque

Hi folks!

I hope you're having a productive week ☕️

We know that personal and professional development is an essential part of growth, and reading is one of the best ways to learn new skills, gain insights, and expand our knowledge. So, we'd love to hear from you!

Could you please recommend books that have helped you with your professional development? It could be anything from leadership, management, productivity, to teamwork, creativity, and innovation. We're sure there are some gems out there that have had a significant impact on your personal and professional growth, and we would be thrilled to hear your suggestions.

I can kick this off by recommending one of my recent favorites, "21 Lessons for the 21st Century" by Yuval Noah Harari. This book offers analysis of the most pressing issues of our time, encourages readers to think critically, and provides practical guidance on cultivating key skills like resilience, adaptability, and empathy. I think it can be very useful for professionals in any field!

What’s your recommendation?

We appreciate your contributions and look forward to discovering some fantastic reads! 💚

In Zeiten der Grippe: Ein Projektmanagement-Krimi (I do not now if it is in English available). Not realy a knowledge book, but an intrinstic view on project management and you can even read it for fun if you like crime stories.

Also in German: "Ziele sind für Loser". I don't think it is available in English, because it is a German author. I do not agree with all thesis but it is good to start thinking about goals (in work and life).

Last but not least "The big five for life".

"Surrounded by Idiots" ... really talking about types of people (personalities) and how to relate to those that aren't the same as you. What color are you?

Hands down, has to be Fearless Facilitation by Cyndi Maxey and Kevin O'Connor for me. Definitely helped me when I was a new Scrum Master working with software engineering teams, and I re-read it every few years because it's chock full of good info and inspiration!

"PRESENCE: Bringing your boldest self to your biggest challenges" by Amy Cuddy talks about overcoming impostor syndrome so you can be more effective. She gave a Ted Talk about this as well, but the book goes into far more detail and is very well-written.
