Basic template that is similar to a school register that I can define via colour as a 'yes or no' oprtion.

Can anyone recommend a basic template or project that I can use for a tick list or something similar? I have a list of schools and I just basically want to have a few colums with different titles and options.

A list of tasks in a table view with several custom fields (check box type) will help?

I agree that a table would be the easiest, with custom fields. You might also be able to utilize a custom workflow to help categorize them? When you go to create a new space in Wrike, also take a look at the Templates they have. You can preview before creating them. One of the basic or general purpose ones might help!

I need to start using this checklist feature! I keep forgetting it is available but have seen my coworkers use it.

We use table view a lot to help people transition from lists in excel to Wrike. Definitely support the suggestions already made.

I think the suggestion to use table view with custom fields is a great one! Unfortunately, the missing piece is color-coding. It might not be ideal, but you could accomplish some color-coding with custom workflow statuses. A "Yes" status that is green and a "No" status that's red. Someone, please correct me if this isn't a good suggestion.

Phil Lynes what do you mean with tick list? I can think about a checkbox list inside a task or also a table you have available in the task describtion. We use this very often if we have only very small tasks: make one task and put all little tasks into it with checkboxes. So you reduce bureaicracy and keep your task list simple.

If you have bigger tasks I agree with the other than a table view with custms fields seems best.

I'm assuming you mean more than a manually added table to the description field - with colour coded  backgrounds

Yeah a table and Custom fields/workflows is probably the best option.

Depending on your Reporting needs, a custom field might fit better for a dashboard view.  But if your task requires a grid - and formatting the grid as a blueprint might also do the trick!  Good news you can do both too!

You could create a space for your schools, add custom yes and no fields utilizing the checkbox option, create a custom workflow to have your YES and NO with colors, then add workflow automation:

This all seems like a lot of work; creating workflows etc. I would probably just go with Excel and attach it to a task or personal project. 🤷

Pardon me if this is a dumb question, but what's the benefit of having a list in Wrike?

I was also going to say that the task description can do check lists, but the custom fields is a MUCH better suggestion! I learned something new today, too.

I have never used the check list feature.
