- Work Templates - Labs Release!
Introducing Work Templates, a major new release that makes it faster and easier to launch the tasks and projects most used by your team. Work Templates are available to users on Business and higher accounts via Wrike Labs. Owners and admins can enable it account-wide, which means that your whole team will get access to the feature (templates cannot be turned on for individuals).

Users can now create Work Templates such as:
- Task templates for activities that are repeated like work requests, IT help-desk tickets, or routine marketing tasks.
- Project templates with key tasks, assignees, views, and more, for projects your team works on regularly, like marketing campaigns or a new product launch.

Users can also build a library of custom work templates for your account or spaces, that can be used by the entire team, or only space members - you decide!

You can also customize each template to show the information or custom fields youโll need for that task or project, and remove any unnecessary or irrelevant fields. Learn more about this feature in this Community post.

- Spaces -ย Create Spaces From Templates

Now, not only account owners and admins can use these templates, but also any users who have the right to create spaces. Also, these templates are now available on all types of accounts, including Free.

Note: templates are no longer available from Wrike Assistant. Also, depending on the user role in the account and the account type users might see a different set of templates in the same account.

- Wrike for iOS ๐ - Ver.5.0.5.
What's new:
- Search and Spaces tabs: for some reason, you used to have to go to the Browse tab to search and see a list of your spaces. We gave search and spaces their own tab now, so you can find them more easily.
- Pinned section: we added a Pinned section so you can see all your favorite projects and folders.
- Microsoft Teams - Updated Task View
Now, when you open a Wrike task from MS Teams, you'll see the same full task view, just like in your Wrike workspace ๐.

I see that Templates can't be created using a request form. We use that feature a lot. Are templates going to replace blueprints? If so, will that feature be added?
Hi and agree with Anna,
we also use Blueprint-templates in our request forms.
At the end of the day, the new templates should at least meet the requirement that they can be used in the forms too.

Doubt: what's supposed to be shown clicking the "Customize" inside a task or project work template? For me is showing empty.
We use the request form to capture important information for the project then have that utilize certain blueprints ... not sure how we would be able to use the template instead. Like mentioned above, will this become an additional feature of templates?

The ability to save blueprints as work templates as well as using the work templates in requests are on the team's plans.ย
