Feature Request: Ability to set starting page (homepage) when logging into Wrike.
Hello, many of our users utilize Dashboards or the stream view much more often than the Inbox and it would be great if it was possible to be able to set which page comes up after a user logs in. Sorry if this is a duplicate, I tried searching for other requests like this but could not find it.
Thank you
This would be a neat feature. I just have everyone make bookmarks that they put in their bookmarks bar. This way they have a button that brings them to the page they want. I personally have three bookmarks set that I use for Wrike to bring me to pages I need to get to on a regular basses.
This would be great. Often, depending on cookie settings, the default page is My Work. We don't use this at all as it doesn't work for us - we ask all users to work from their dashboard(s).
I use the desktop app, so a bookmark doesn't;t work for me.
Hi guys, thanks for bringing up such an interesting topic!
Bookmarks on a bookmark bar is a great suggestion, thanks @Aaron 🙌 Unfortunately, it won't work for the Desktop app, but a good workaround for those who use the browser version.
I also wanted to mention Spaces Bookmarks here. They give quick-access links to the folders, projects, Reports, Dashboards, etc. that are most frequently needed. Space admins can add items to the Bookmarks bar and organize content. Bookmarks don't exactly solve what is discussed in this thread, but I thought it might be helpful to mention here 👐

Thanks Lisa, I think bookmarks are great but as you said dont really get us all the way there. With new Spaces, it would be great if someone could set a Space as a starting page because thats either the team or project they are working on currently. It would make for a great, at a glance type of function.
Thanks you all for the comments and upvotes!
I come again with the bookmark soulution. I think you should be able so solve your requests that way. For example, you could set up an intranet-site with bookmarks to your favourite Wrike spaces. Or you could use the Chrome functionality to save bookmarks as shortcuts and distribute these to your users.
By the way: Using the Wrike desktop app doesn't have any advantages to using Chrome with a shortcut.
Howto:
- Open the wrike space in Chrome.
- Click on the three dots menu icon on the top right hand corner, then click on "more tools" and "create shortcut".
- Check the box "Open in new window"
(I use the German version of Chrome, so maybe the buttons have different description in English)
Looks like it's been about two years since this was discussed. I'm using the desktop app and whenever I log-in, it takes me to a (seemingly) random archived project from a number of years ago with an accompanying pop-up window from within that project? I'm curious how this project/pop-up were saved as my 'start-up' screen? And what—if anything—I can do to 'reset' this....other than uninstalling and reinstalling. Thank you!
Hi James Tweedy, welcome back to the Community, and sorry for the late reply! I'm not sure if this can be done without uninstalling and reinstalling, but let me check with our Support experts!

Lisa is there yet a solution to this problem? When i start my wrike destop app it shows me an old project and a pop up task from that project...
Hi Andreas Wolfsgruber, welcome to the Community! 👋
When all is working as it should, the Desktop app should open each time to the last place you left off when the app was closed. However, sometimes it can get "stuck" on a certain page and continue to open to this page each time instead of where you left off. You'll need help from our Support team to make it right again, so I'll raise a ticket for you 👍
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else!
