[From Wrike] Auto-update Mapped Custom Fields Options in Request Forms ✅

Hello, Community!
Many of you are using request forms and custom fields together - combined, they provide the perfect option to gather important information for your team and easily add it into tasks or projects.
This week, the integration became even more efficient! 🤩 Now, the request form options based on a custom field are automatically updated when the custom field is edited! 💪 Please, note that in case of adding an action to the custom field options in the form, the auto-update will not be triggered.
Before, when a custom field was edited, it was necessary to access the request form where they were being used to update the available options. With this new enhancement, you don’t need to worry about this step anymore because the system does it for you 😁
📍 How it works
The auto-updating takes place when you:
- Change the name of the custom field (applies to all custom field types).
- Change the order of the options in single select or multi-select custom fields.
- Add new options to the custom fields.
For example, when you use a single select custom field in a request form, users can choose from the available options specified in the custom field.

By editing the options in the custom field settings, now the changes will be automatically reflected in the request form.

We have a Wrike admin who does this (among other things) and just keeping the custom fields in our hundreds of forms current has been one of his most time-consuming tasks -- a never-ending job.
