[From Wrike] The New Wrike Experience is here to stay! ✨
Hi Community,
We're very happy to say that the rollout of the New Wrike Experience has been successful so far with close to 60% of active users already using the New Wrike Experience! 🙌
The suggestions and ideas that have been shared since it was introduced in Labs, updated based on your feedback, and discussed in an AMA with our Product team have been vital to the evolution of the solution. The release of the Hamburger menu is another great example of how user feedback has directly shaped the New Wrike Experience. Thank you for engaging with us here and helping us to evolve the New Wrike Experience! 💚
We’re now gradually entering a sunset phase of the Classic Wrike Experience starting on July 6th.
How will this work? 🤔
Firstly, don't worry! This doesn't mean the Classic Wrike Experience will be sunsetted for everyone on this date, but rather that the sunset phase will start then. We'll be in touch with all customers well in advance of each account's sunset phase, so there'll be plenty of time for you and your teams to prepare.
Does this mean the current New Wrike Experience is the final version? 📦
No, as always we’re continually working to improve our user experience and are currently looking at adding enhanced search capabilities as well as improving how pinned items work in the New Wrike Experience. More details to follow on this.
Why can't we keep the Classic? 🤝
Feedback from our users, as well as research and investigation, confirmed that we needed to look at improving our overall user experience. The New Wrike Experience aims to empower you and your teams to use Wrike in a way that works best while also making it easier for you to access your work. This includes everyone being on the same experience and having access to new features available only in the New Wrike Experience.
What if we're not ready for this transition? 👩💻
Our team will be on hand to ensure that this transition will happen smoothly for you and that all concerns are addressed before the sunset happens for you. We'll also be in touch well in advance of the planned sunset to assist with the move. If you're concerned about the transition or sunset, please reach out to your Wrike representative who will be able to advise further.
Thank you again for all of the insights you've shared here on the New Wrike Experience with us here. If you have feedback/questions, please let us know in the comments below 👍

We don't like the new experience. Now, you're forcing the 40% of users that did not adopt it to do it by July 6!! It might mean that we will terminate our agreement with you.
Hi Erwin UNU, thank you for reaching out!
I'm sorry to hear your feedback on the New Wrike Experience. As mentioned above, the Classic Wrike Experience won't be sunsetted for everyone on this date, but the sunset phase will start then. Our team will be in touch with all customers in advance of each account's sunset phase, so there'll be time for you and your team to prepare.
I will also let your Customer Success Manager know about your feedback here. Please let me know if I can help with anything else.

I agree with UNU - While I can see some benefits to the new "Dashboard view" similar to a look and feel of Airtable, the new version is not as user friendly and ultimately you have to add additional clicks to your process in order to find what you're looking for which defeats the purpose of an efficient process for production.
Hi Alexis Acosta, welcome to the Community! 👋
Thanks for sharing your feedback here! By the way, have you seen the announcement of the latest update in relation to the New Wrike Experience? In case you haven't yet - now all of your pinned items are available in the Hamburger menu making them easier and quicker to access. Would be interested to know your thoughts regarding this update 😊

Having the hamburger on the side is helpful but it's also an added step. On this Home Page I want to be able to customize it to what I need. For example, my custom dashboard, removing the inbox on the left or collapsing it if I don't want it there, etc. Having a homepage that allows me to customize what I use most would help mitigate how many clicks it takes to get me where I need to be.
Hello Mel Rocha Cheng, welcome to the Community 👋🏻
Thanks for your feedback, I've shared it with the Product team. In the meanwhile, may I ask if you've considered bringing the pinned section on the homepage to the top and use that section as the main navigation? You can have visibility of all the pinned items including Dashboards, Folders, Reports you'd like to have an easy access.
Please let me know if you have any questions 🙋🏻♀️
The biggest thing I'm missing from the new experience is the ability to search for folders right where the folders are. It also seems like I cannot find certain folders any more, perhaps it's the way they were created by someone else or the way they were shared with me. I can say that navigation has become a huge problem for me. I gave the new experience a test drive for at least a month and still couldn't use it very well. I'm normally one that adapts to new software quickly and easily, not this change though. I would like to remain on the "old" experience as long as possible, or if you can address the navigation that would be helpful. Unfortunately the dashboard isn't useful for me.
Welcome to the Community Matthew Martens, and thank you for sharing detailed feedback in relation to the New Wrike Experience. I've passed it on to our Product team now 👍

I agree with the other community members above. The new experience isn't great. It involves extra clicks and makes it extremely hard to navigate to multiple different tasks within a larger project. With the old experience I had my starred projects pinned to the left of my screen and could quickly jump from folder to folder and the tasks within that to manage my work throughout the day. Now, it feels like I have to click back to the home screen constantly and struggle to navigate between project tasks within the parent folder. Please find a way that I can have my old starred menu on the left of my screen and have the ability to quickly get to my project tasks within one click! Sample images provided to give you a view of all the tickets I'm managing just for one project and need the ability to quickly bounce around with just one click.
Brenna Lucas Welcome to the Community 👋

I agree with everything that's been said here in the comments. Ultimately, the new experience offers a more complicated experience and gets rid of everything I found most helpful in Wrike (the ability to navigate through projects in a pinned left-hand menu, dashboards on my home page, etc...). This update has made the experience much more complicated and ultimately a less useful product. Our company has been hoping to move to Jira and I've historically convinced them to stick with Wrike. I'm not sure I want to keep fighting that battle if you're forcing me into an update that makes the product less useful and needlessly complicated. Furthermore, the feedback I've heard from my team is that while they did proactively switch to the new experience, they only did so because they knew they'd be forced into it eventually and wanted to adapt; universally, they say it is a poor user experience and they dislike it. One team member even told me that she actively avoids using Wrike if she can because it's so difficult to navigate and she can't locate her projects. She typically has no trouble adapting to updates in our software, and it's a huge concern if this update makes Wrike so difficult to use that our team actively tries NOT to use it. In fact, that defeats the entire purpose of having it at all. I hope that you'll improve it, or at least give users the option to stick with the old layout that actually met our needs. It's disappointing to have Wrike make updates that make the product worse instead of better.
Welcome back to the Community Sara Thompson! 👋
Thank you for such detailed feedback you've shared on the New Wrike Experience. I understand your concerns with user adoption and I'm sorry to hear the experience isn't as useful for your team.
Please let me assure you all the feedback here is reported to the Product team and they've already made changes to the New Experience after receiving lots of insights from this Community. Just in case you haven't seen those updates yet, here are some of them that we've been sharing on the Community: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4.
As mentioned above, I'm now passing on your feedback to the Product team and also to your account's Customer Success Manager - they might be able to help with the adoption. Also, there are different resources available (again, just in case you haven't checked them out yet) - I'd suggest taking a look at this New Wrike Experience handbook.
Please let me know if there's anything else that I can help you with!

Please bring back the classic Wrike. The whole reason we went with Wrike was for the simple design and now the homepage is so cluttered.
Welcome to the Community Grace Cho 👋
Could you please share more detail on how you work in Wrike? The New Experience indeed adds another level of personalization by providing you with the home page, but essentially you can work within your spaces and folder trees as before. It would be helpful to understand your concerns better, so I might be able to suggest something 😊
