How to extract workload with API ?
Hi
I am a new Wrike user.
My compagny is an IT consulting company with 40 employees.
Each collaborator work on severals project every day so we use the workload to anticipate the loads of each. An we need to calculate indicators on this workload.
But for the moment it seems impossible in Wrike report.
I would export the workload to calculate the KPIs in another tool.
How can I do that with API ?
Thanks a lot
Elodie
Hello Elodie Poux, welcome to the Community 👋🏻

Please let me know the solution too.
Hi Sajid Yousaf, thanks for asking!
To get the effort allocated for the task, you'll need to include the following parameter in your GET/tasks call: fields=[effortAllocation].
There is also a preset of Utilization and Performance Report available in Advanced Reporting and BI (Wrike Analyze) to calculate the allocation of users in the Reports. You may further customize it to compare Planned vs Spent Time by days or by users. Please beware that Wrike Analyze is available for the Enterprise Pinnacle plan only.
Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions🙋🏻♀️
Hi Cansu,
Thanks for your kind help. But I wonder, why isn't this solution (I mean the use of parameter effortAllocation) mentioned in developers documentation. Can you please refer me to a good place (i.e. documentation) to know such techniques 😀
Hi Sajid Yousaf, thanks for getting back to me! We do have it available on developers.wrike.com. It's hidden under tasks 👀 On this website you can find all things related to Wrike and API.
Hi
I am interested to know if the detailed daily allocation for each task that is shown in the workload view is accessible through the API
Hi Stuart Rendall, I've passed your question over to our API specialists, they will reach out back to you via email shortly 🙂
I want to know the answer too about the detailed daily allocation for each task, wich method is better? bi export or api reference.
Regards
Hi Stuart Rendall, would you please share the answer you've received from Support, as Alonso Esteban Núñez Fuentes is also interested in this option? 🙂
Thank you!
