Allow Blueprint tasks to contain existing locations already active in a Wrike space to which a task gets automatically added to once the task gets created from the Blueprint.

When creating from a blueprint, it would be great to predefine that specific tasks in the blueprint can have a predefined folder location added of where the task must be visible in a live Wrike space once created from a blueprint.

Currently every time I create from a blue print, I have to manually go and put various tasks created from the blueprint in various folders one by one just so I can apply various automations to specific tasks created from various blueprints.

Hi Lize,

Thanks for the post. I second this suggestion, it would be very helpful for my workflow as well, given that the same can be applied to projects created by blueprints.

Hi Lize,

I believe in lightspeed this is available. Here is a screenshot of my Blueprint:

You will notice the "Create items to" on the right hand side. This creates my Blueprint as normal and then also put this task on the second space/project as well. I hope this helps!

This feature is available in regular (non-work item) blueprint tasks as well.

If you are using a request form, you can also specify in the form where you need each task to go. It is unnecessary to do this in both places if the form is creating tasks from a blueprint. But if you have your form setup to create a new task from scratch, you can add a parent folder in the main settings in the right panel, or based on a specific response to either a drop-down or checkbox answer.

Click on the conditional icon to select a folder for each different response to the question:

Select a parent folder in the main form settings:
