Limited project access

wondering if I can change the user access based on the project level? for example, some people are regular users who can change the due dates; however, I don't want them to be able to change any dates from some of the projects. Is there a way to do so? thanks!

Hi Betty, thanks for posting on the Community! Yes, it's definitely possible to granularly limit permissions for specific locations with the help of Folder and Project Permissions, which can be modified from the "Share" menu of individual Projects and Folders. A detailed guide on setting it up can be found in our Folder and Project Permissions article. Is this what you were looking for? Let me know if any questions come up about this functionality, I'll be happy to discuss this further! :)

I'm looking to do the same thing, only when I click on the Share menu of a specific project, I get the following:

Group/User has access to a parent/project folder. To unshare this project you need to unshare a parent/project folder first.

I am on a Business account.  Am I missing something?  I simply want to disable non-admin users from being able to change the dates on tasks. When I have a project full of tasks/dependencies, one date change can throw off the entire project.

Hey Rob Gorczyca! That's correct: in Wrike, the default sharing is inherited from the top down. If a Task, Folder, or Project is shared with a user, then all items added to or created in that Task, Folder, or Project are automatically shared with that user as well. This is why when changing the permissions, you'll need to start with the parent items. Here are all the details about Sharing in Wrike, hope that's helpful. Please let me know if you have any questions, I'll be happy to discuss 🙂

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I found I am able to manipulate the Access Roles within the Settings of the Space (parent item) that I'm working in.
