Hi Joe & Andrew, thanks for the suggestions and votes here, it's a great suggestion 👍

There are internal discussions about this feature, however, it's currently not on our Product Team's short-term roadmap. We've made the team aware of this thread and if there are any updates, I'll be sure to share them here.

    Thanks for posting 🙂

This would be a great addition.  We do not have access to Zapier corporately, but are now starting to do more with Flow.  I can see some real potential for further automation if Wrike and Flow could play nice.

+1 Here. If we had the ability to take info from SharePoint lists and create items in wrike it would be a game changer for us.

+1, I agree Flow integration would be a game changer. This allows communication and automation with sharepoint and other platforms in a unique way. One example  - if a file is uploaded to Box in a particular folder, this could trigger an update to a sharepoint list, which then if other conditions are met, could mark a task complete in Wrike. This eliminates multiple people having to play a role in manually working and can really streamline processes.

I don't think there is a replacement for this.. really think Wrike should prioritize. Smartsheet, MS Project Online, Trello, and other platforms all have the MS Flow integration already.

    Thanks for all you're doing!

Another +1 here.  We are integrating our sparse systems together.  We use Wrike for overall project management, and we use Freshdesk to manager our external client communications.  It would be great to have the ability to Microsoft Flow to create, update and get tasks from Wrike.

    +1!

My use case is that I have a series of interactions that involve assigning a name to each problem on a list of problems. I would like to have a flow that is triggered by this assignment and ends up adding a new task for the person who the problem is assigned to.

Also, when the person has completed it and marked it complete in wrike, it would be great to have a flow that would close it out on the list of problems and send the last wrike comment as the "solution.

So I guess the "parameters" I'd need to be able to pass would be the item "title," owner, status, and comments.

We've been able to create Flows on SharePoint lists/libraries that leverage the email integration with Wrike.  As an example, an team member needs a contract action - we use our sharepoint lookups as metadata columns in that list item along with some pertinent details, and the flow sends an email to our Wrike "intake" folder with cc to the submitter and to other stakeholders. We're doing it this way instead of using a Wrike request form because we can leverage managed metadata and lookup lists in our sharepoint content rather than the less robust lookup / reference functions in request forms. The subject line in the email integration defines the task and assigns it, and the other pertinent facts go into the description field.

Would be great - is a bit depressing to see Asana has flow integration already.

I'm doing it with a rubbish work around creating an email out of Flow to Wrike

Elaine McDonagh Looks like we just passed 60 upvotes! This is a great tool that could allow Wrike customers many integrations and your competitors (Asana, Basecamp, etc.) are already integrated.

Hi everyone! I've checked with the team as this post got 60+ upvotes, and it looks like Microsoft Flows is an alternative to the platform that Wrike Integrate is based on - Workato. Here's more info on Wrike Integrate if you're interested: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021542373-Wrike-Integrate

For this reason, the suggestion is currently not planned by the team. At the same time, I'll keep a close eye on this thread, passing on your feedback and checking with the Product team regularly, so thanks again for your feedback and votes, they haven't gone unnoticed for sure!

Hi Lisa. Thank you for your the update. This is unfortunate to hear and I'm sure many other Wrike customers will agree. My one bit of feedback for you and the Wrike team managing the forums is not to encourage 60+ upvotes for items you clearly know are not planned because the software competes with Workato or competes with other agreements you have in place. Out of respect for your current customers and potential customers, this type of information is important to release if it is known before the post has reached 60 upvotes.

Just to be transparent with your customers, has Wrike entered a contract with Workato stating that Wrike cannot integrate and support other automation tools such as Zapier, IFTTT, Automate.io, Power automate (MS Flow), etc. or has Wrike just decided to only support one automation solution? I feel this is valuable information to know and should be known by your customers as this effects their business decisions.

Please know that my intent is not to be rude in my comments above, but simply to make known that not every customer has the financial freedom to purchase such an expensive add-on as Workato or hire a developer to integrate with the API directly. Tools such as Zapier, IFTTT, and Automate.io are cost effective tools and are very user friendly for non-coders. I should mention that Power automate (MS Flow) is similar cost wise to Workato if you purchase it individually, but most companies have business or enterprise licenses of Office 365 that include this software already. I just feel that Wrike is isolating their customers ability to connect their systems into/with Wrike by not supporting automation tools that support all levels of knowledge, integration, and cost.

I look forward to your response. Thank you!

Hi Christopher Halkovic, thank you for your feedback here.

The reason that we encourage our members to vote in these threads is that once they reach 60 upvotes, it goes through our Product Feedback process and our Product team is able to provide us with information relating to the status of this suggestion. As a Community team, we're looking into ways to streamline and improve this process, so your feedback has come at a great time, thank you for that!

As of right now, we offer Wrike Integrate which is based on Workato, and there are currently no plans to integrate with Microsoft Flow on the short-term roadmap. All of the feedback in this thread will be passed on to the Product team, so you can rest assured that your feedback is being heard.

Thanks again for all of your input. If you want to know more about our current process for Product Feedback, be sure to check out this thread which goes into detail about our product statuses.

If you have any other questions be sure to let me know!

I just want to add that I think it's very shortsighted for Wrike to not include Microsoft Flow / Automate integration in the shorter term. There are 200 million Office 365 customers that can enable Automate with a single flip of a switch. Using Connectors in Automate is a no brainer for Office 365 customers. It's a lost opportunity for Wrike and its customer base.

    Let's look at the field....

Smartsheet, Asana, Trello, Basecamp, Jira - they ALL have Flow / Automate connectors.

I would second that this is a very shortsighted decision by Wrike. Especially since there is already integration with Zapier, and considering all the other integrations with Teams, Outlook, etc. choosing not to integrate with Power Automate/Flow just doesn't make any sense...😒

    Hello

I'm a business process consultant working with a number of customers. I got here in response to a specific query about integrating Wrike with a number of Microsoft products and I'll be honest, I'm astonished.

If the customer wants to integrate it seems they have two options - use Workato which, according to the pricing page, has an entry point of $10,000, or migrate to MS Project, which is roughly similar in price to Wrike, use the Power Automate that they get free with their Office package.

If anyone can give me a reason why they should part with $10,000 in order to replicate functionality they already have I'm all ears, but this seems incredibly short sighted of Wrike. My advice to the customer will of course be to migrate to Project 365. It's not as good a project management tool, but I can integrate it with their SharePoint lists and CRM without spending 10 grand upfront.

Hi Nick Ellis, welcome to the Community! Sorry for the late reply here.

Thanks for your feedback on Wrike Integrate. I'm not sure about the pricing that you've mentioned here, so I asked our team to reach out to you on this. I'd also like to mention that Wrike Integrate allows connecting Wrike with hundreds of applications, not only the ones mentioned on this thread.

Anyway, thank you again for your feedback, I passed it on to the team!
