[Weekly Conversations] Wrike Discover ๐ ๐
In evidenzaHi Community!
ย
Hope you're enjoying our Weekly Conversations series, we always look forward to reading about your best practices and experiences ๐
ย
Following last week's conversation on how you help others by Being a Wrike Champion, we would like to continue the discussion with our online training platform - Wrike Discover ๐งโ๐ป
ย
If you are not familiar with it yet, Wrike Discover is our e-learning platform that houses our interactive online courses. These courses use practical exercises to help you and your team learn how to use Wrike. Discover is a highly useful resource for new team members, and for anyone who'd like to level up their work management skills.
ย
This week we would love to hear which courses are in your favorites tab, which ones are most recommended to your colleagues, and why?
ย
My favorite is Agile Best Practices, it gave me my first understanding of Agile Methodology which we use in the Wrike Team on a daily basis.
ย
Let us know which Discover course has helped you most and which ones you recommend to your colleagues in the comments below ๐
I also have favorited Agile Best Practices. Additionally, the new course on Tracking Objectives and OKRs is now in my favorites. This was something I wanted to know more about to see how it can be integrated into the team's daily work.
As for which one I mostly recommend that would beย 204 Stay on top of your work. Since I am a contractor, my manager can create dashboards to see the work assigned to me as well as any tasks that are overdue.
For all the different training that I do, I have sprinkled in relevant Discover courses based on the topic covered in training.ย In addition, we send out self-guided training modules in Wrike that are role based and direct folks to specific courses as well - so in short, my answer is almost all the Basic and Individual Courses are pushed to our users!
For new users, we have them complete the Beginner and Individual courses. This opens the users up to a few topics and then depending on their role, additional courses can be taken. I, personally, keep a bookmark to Wrike Discover page and Wrike Best Practices page!
Due to the nature of how we have Wrike set up, most of these do not help our users. However, there are a few that are great for most to take at my company. Anything to do with reports is one area I favorite. Also, the controlling email notifications is a simple, but good one. It helps people to figure out how to get their notifications at a comfortable level.
I really enjoyed the Discover for Wrike Onboarding which helped us with our new user training blueprint. Within that new user training, we have everyone go watch these courses because they give our users the best overview of how we use Wrike company-wide.ย
403 Requests for Work is probably my favorite course for new teams, so that they can start thinking about streamlining their processes.ย
Thank you everyone for sharing your favorite and recommended Discover Courses ๐
Ditto with Shelly Erickson. I also bookmark topics from Wrike Discover page and Wrike Best Practices page! This allows new users to have a direct access anytime they want.
Really a lot of good trainings.
For beginners very helpful 201 Control Your Email Notifications, because it reduces the reservation of new users.
In general the piracte part: 204 Stay on Top of Work. Really good idea of explaining project management. That is something people remember.
Thanks folks ๐
Sven Passinger yes, we really wanted to make the courses useful and entertaining too, thanks for noting that ๐ค

We welcome new users with a mix of The beginner, The individual & some of The leader paths.ย
I'm using a request form & a blueprint to popular the projects in a Training space and monitor progress with a dashboard.
I'm planning to develop role-based training, but at the moment we have one path for all.
I also have a bookmark to discover :)
I didn't know there were free options I'll have to check it out!ย
Roxane Carrier Wow, role-based training sounds like a super interesting idea ๐ฅ
Elizabeth Bayer Wrike Discover courses are free to all Wrike users, and if you have any questions about them, please let me know! ย
