Feature Updates
- Attachments: Share Links to Files ๐
You can now copy permalinks to files in Wrike and share them with your team!

To copy a permalink right-click a file in Files view, a list of attachments, or a dashboard and select Copy file permalink.

- Automation Engine - Blueprints and Request Forms Can Now Create Triggers ๐ค
When a new task or project is created via blueprint or request form, it can now trigger automation rules. Please note that it only works with blueprints and request forms that create less than 100 work items.

- Gantt Chart: Drag-Select & Copy-Paste ๐
Drag-selection and copy-pasting cells are now available in the table section of Gantt Charts (we recently introduced the same functionality in Table View). Click and drag, or hold down Shift, to select multiple cells.
Please note that you can only paste cells into columns with the same formats.

- Locked Files: Menu Changes ๐
Things change: when a file is locked by Document editor, its right-click menu now shows "Unlock" instead of "Edit". Also, locked file's tooltips now include "File is locked by [Username]" and an "Error" label if there's something wrong with the file.

- Converting to Space: Views Preserved ๐
Before: if a space was created from a folder or project, it only had List view.
Now: the new space will have the same views as its source (Custom views too).

Thank you for these release notes! We are really excited about the addition of the ability to permalink to a file. Is there a plan to make permalinks accessible to those who do not have a Wrike account? My team currently uses Frame.io for our video reviews due to the ability to create a link to send to anyone without them having to create an account. We work directly with executives who are not likely to create accounts in order to review videos, or accept collaboration requests in their already overflowing email inboxes, so this is really what's holding us back from using Approvals as our primary review service.ย
