[Regression?] Android App: Switching accounts has become a lot more complicated (Forced re-login every time)
Hi. Today I noticed for the first time the App behavior has changed in a bad way. (version 4.5.2, Android)
Till some days ago jumping between accounts was easy, just had to click "More" and select a different account from the dropdown.
Now I have to additionally confirm I want to log out and then do a full re-login! Why that? This is a huge waste of time for everyone working with multiple accounts/workspaces and kills any productivity. This is a bad solution. Please revert to the previous easy behavior.
Hi Jannik Mewes,
This change was made by the Product team to add further security measures to your Wrike account. Thank you for sharing this feedback, I've passed it on to the team. If there are any changes here, I'll be sure to let you know.
Hi Hugh, I realize security is important. (However I don't see why it should be more secure to stay logged in in only one account as opposed to several accounts that I'm a member of.)
As of right now this breaks productivity. No more push notifications for more than one account and jumping between accounts becomes very slow.
A better solution to combine security and productivity would be to not force users to log out but to ask if a user wants to stay logged in, either when logging in, or when switching to another account.
I would be happy to hear you let the team know and this behavior is fixed soon. RIght now I'm thinking of manually installing an older app version as this is a huge cut in usability.
Hi Jannik Mewes, thanks for sharing this detail on this, it's much appreciated.
I've passed this on to the Product team, if I have any further updates to share in relation to this I'll be sure to let you know. If you need help with anything else don't hesitate to ask.
