Is there a way to clear a date that has been set?

Often times a task will be added that does not need a date. If a data is accidentally selected, can you clear it so it does not have a due or start date? I would not want it to show up on reports or dashboards. eg. A task titled "Weekly Meeting Notes" - I like to have it as a task so it is easily accessible and organized for the developers, but it does not need to have a date, as notes "comments" get added weekly about what was discussed during the meeting.

Hi Tony,

You can just highlight the text and hit "delete."  I know the calendar pops up and makes you think that you have to choose something - but you don't!

Thanks Justin! - I didn't see the "clear date" field when I was right clicking the first time.

I noticed when you us the "clear date" you might lose the dependency.  Has anyone else noticed this as well?

@Chris Hi, welcome to the Community 🙂 You're correct, dependencies can be set to tasks with scheduled dates.
