[Status: Launched ๐] Request form - assign Blueprint based on question selection
I'd love to see a dropdown option have the ability to assign a blueprint vs. the entire form being tied to one.ย That way depending on what option is selected, I can associate the request with a prebuilt set of Tasks appropriate to their selection.
Another option would be allowing dropdowns and checkboxes to add Blueprints to the project being created.ย This would give "choose your own adventure" where the user's inputs are building out custom sets of Tasks within a project.ย ex:ย If a user is using a form to "Request a Marketing Project" and they select the checkbox for "need email campaign", it would grab the Email Campaign blueprint and add it as a sub-project/task list to the main request project.
This would be incredibly useful to us as well.ย
We have a "New Project" request form that creates new projects for us, but pre-populating tasks withing that new project based on a drop-down selection would be very useful as it would no longer need to be done manually.
For example, selecting in the drop-down "Design Project" would select the appropriate blueprint with all the design project tasks. Similarly selecting "Study Project" would allow those very different tasks to be populated from a different blueprint.

This seems like a basic but vital function to be honest. Without having dynamic forms the only other option is to intake and manually assign projects or have multiple forms, which just makes it clunky.

I agree with Alec Withman.ย the forms loose value by not being dynamic and requiring 2nd or 3rd touches after submittal to complete the tasks set up in the assigned Wrike space.
Thank you for supporting here Rob Cliniteย ๐ค

I'm at a new company and I've partnerd us with Wrike once again -- we still really need this function even at a new company with a new team.
Hi Alec Witham, welcome to the Community (and back to Wrike)! Thank you for adding your support here, and bumping this thread. We'll be sure to let you know if there are any updates.
Adding my support for this functionality also - would love to have one request form to direct folks to no matter what the project type is, and then for the project blueprint to be based on the selection of project type that is chosen in a dropdown question.
Thank you for supporting this idea Heather McCoy! The main post here at the top of the page here will soon reach the 60 upvotes threshold, and we'll then be adding one of the Product statuses here. Please let me know if you have any questions on our processes.

Lisa and Lee Elkins - This feature was added with the dynamic request forms. You can replace which blueprint you are using within a form, you can add tasks based on user questions.ย
Pietro Poli and I were working on a similar task. You can see the conversation here.ย
Hi Mike F, thank you very much for your help here!
Just to clarify, it is possible to add an item based on a blueprint by including a multiple-select or single-select question in a request form:
Project item types are also available:
