[Backburner ⌛️] Ability to print reports without exporting to Excel
It would be great to be able to print multi-page reports from Wrike. The only way I can get around this is to export my reports to Excel.

This is a huge issue for me!! I have heard so many times that the development team is considering it. Why not do it? It's a no-brainer, and it's something that has me reconsidering using Wrike. I end up spending hours to format reports. Wrike is supposed to make it easier for me to work, not harder.
Adding my support for this, printing/PDF of reports is another basic and essential requirement that is missing.
PLEASE PLEASE add this ... it's a major issue for me and will be something I will look for in other programs to compare. You used to have Export to PDF and it went away - why?
I would also like to express our team's need to print a clean looking report directly from Wrike. It is also a reason why we are considering Wrike alternatives. When exporting into excel, a lot of time has to be spend formatting it so that it looks nice and clean for clients and stakeholders. Our current workaround is using a screenshot tool which is cumbersome as we have to break the pages up into separate images so that all projects fit, then we have to individually print each screenshot and staple together (sounds like a cheap hack). Please do mention this to your product team.
The report feature in Wrike is the most frustrating part of the software. It prohibits us from saving time and utilizing reports as meeting minutes, for executive review, etc. I would be a much happier Wrike user if the reports feature was improved. It makes me wish we had chosen another software application for our project management.
Working in a fast paced environment, taking the time to have to export to another form and then format and then configure printer settings...is far too much of a hassle then it should be. There needs to be an easier way to create the report, save it, and then print it directly from the site. This is a huge time waster for us!
C'mon Wrike -- it's pretty easy to see this is an important feature. AND - when I first started with Wrike, I could do PDFs, so I'm unsure what happened that made them unavailable. If you aren't going to do this, let us know so we can move on to another product.
This thread is 1 1/2 years old an we still cannot do something as simple as print a report. Reports would be the most important feature to print. Using a secondary program to print a decent report is not a good solution. This should have been addressed long ago.
We have just decided to not renew our Wrike subscription mainly because of the reporting issue. Instead we are going back to a spreadsheet on sharepoint and will use tableau for reports.
I really understand why Wrike dont want people to print to pdf or paper, But this is just strange.
Even if we would prefer that everyone use a digital solution like i.e Wrike, Everyone don`t, only some of us do! I recon you already know...
So please activate a possibilty to print reports, tables etc. to pdf. Hopefully with options for adding description and comments on tasks....
Thanks!
This is such a major omission, I can't believe it is not supported, exporting to excel wastes such a lot of my time. It is one of the issues that makes me question my continued use of Wrike.
When is this likely to happen?
I had an introductory call from our new account manager last week. I brought this up as our company's biggest issue with Wrike. I was told that this is not on their road map.
I have my team actively looking for a new project management software because of this issue. Lots of choices out there and less expensive, while providing all the Wrike features PLUS reporting.
I have found a work around today that is working for us for now. It might be different as I am sure we are all using the software in a different way so bear with me. But I have a one folder called 'team' and in there lots of sub folders with projects in. If I click on the top level of the folder and select list view, then go to the three little dots and select to see tasks and subtasks, you then see all tasks. I then click the filter icon and select the next 30 days or 7 days and filter the team members I want to see assigned to which tasks. You can print this view! Although it's not a report I can quickly print a list for our weekly meetings.
Our group is joining the rest! I get requests for pdf forms of the reports I share. If we could get that, we could then print it. Otherwise, we love the product.
Wrike Team. I request the ability to PDF or print reports. It can't be hard to do once you already have the data.
Can't be more disappointed. Wrike doesn't generate PRINTABLE reports... unbelievable.
This is so important, please add this feature. It would be such a time saver! I can't believe that it's not possible to print clear reports.
@all, the considerable support for this feature has not gone unnoticed. The team are looking to investigate this in the coming months.
The work required to build this is a lot larger on the backend than what it seems. It also requires some tweaks in other areas of the Workspace to work and display correctly.
The team totally understand the popularity of the request and for now, it's in Backburner status; this means it something the team want to look at doing, but cannot fit it on their roadmap right now ahead of other planned and essential enhancements. Once this changes, I'll post here again and update with new information.
For now, it's hugely beneficial as a community to share your support for this enhancement, but also share what solution you're using right now. This helps us learn from each other, and also gives the Product Team insight on how this feature request will be used 🖖
Happy posting! 🙂
@all, Our team has come up with a work around. We've installed Full Page Screen Capture from the Chrome Web Store. We then open the report we need, collapse the left navigation-menu (by clicking the hamburger menu) and remove any excess white space from the right side of the report by minimizing the browser window, use the Full Screen Capture tool to capture the entire page. Viola! The whole thing takes about 10 seconds. My PDF prints into several pages if it's a longer report and looks much cleaner than when exporting into an excel document.
Hope this helps!
@Jonathan, thanks so much for sharing that!
@All, I don't have an update at the moment, this idea is not on the short-term roadmap, but all your feedback here is reported to our Product team. Thanks for posting, I'll keep you posted.

This request should not be on the back burner. This is very important to us and I am sure many other companies. It is unbelievable that reports are not printable without the use of another program.
This is a MAJOR FLAW!
Please fix this or we will have to give up on Wrike and choose another option.
The workouround suggested by Jonathan works great! Full Page Screen Capture from the Chrome Web Store does the job.
Still, best if Wrike could include print option in their platform.
I would still highly suggest Wrike to get a printed report because google capture is not so clear for me, the resolution. and a huge hassle to get done.
for a meeting handout and reviewing workloads and reports it would be very helpful to us to be able to print out any kind of task and report etc.
direct from wrike. Thank You
Hey everyone, thanks for your continued support here.
No updates at the moment; I'm keeping a close eye on this request - I'll let you know as soon as I have news 🙌

I see a pattern with Wrike comments. Someone starts a request. Wrike responds, requesting more information, taking the simple question to a convoluted journey, lasting months.
The issues we have encountered: not able to print reports directly, not able to grant Regular user permissions selective access, not able to allow collaborators to view dashboards, not able to buy seats, in less than 10 blocks, all have moved us from evangelists of Wrike to non-believers. How about less words and more action, Wrike.
We are actually done waiting and have moved from Wrike to Zoho -- they have PDF reports!! And the platform seems much more intuitive. MIght be worth checking out...
No ability to print reports is a loser for us! I have to spend 20 minutes reformatting and detailing a simple table report that is right there in plain sight. Already evaluating other solutions, as this is just a time killer when it comes down to it.
