Feature Updates
- Command/Ctrl-Click To Open In New Tab from the Sidebar ๐น
A Ctrl-click (on Windows) or Command-Click (on Mac) will open any item or tool from the left-hand navigation in a new tab. This works whether or not the new sidebar is enabled from Labs.
- Freeze Your Columns in New Table View โ๏ธ
You can now freeze columns in New Table view just like you could in old Table view. Simply right-click a column name and select Freeze column. Frozen columns move to the far left of the table and stay in place if you scroll horizontally.
- Right-Click to Change Status In New Table View ๐
Previously the only way to change a status in New Table view was by clicking on it in its column. Now if you right-click anywhere on a task, project, or custom item type in New Table view, there is a Change status option.
- Quick Filter Panel Now Available in List View When New Toolbar is Enabled ๐ง
If you're in List view and you have the new toolbar enabled from Wrike Labs ๐ฌ, clicking on the filter icon will now open the quick filter panel. Click More filters... in the quick panel to get to the full panel.
- Exporting Projects to Excel Now Possible in Team Plan
If you have the Team plan, you can now export projects to Excel. Just use the three-dot menu and select Export project to Excel. All tasks, nested projects, and all of their fields will be exported.
- Tools Can Now be Pinned in the New Sidebar ๐
If you have the new sidebar enabled in Labs, you can now pin tools just like you could with projects and folders. They can also be right-clicked, with options to Open in a separate tab, Copy permalink, and Pin/Unpin.
- Blueprints Now Marked in Work Item View ๐ต
If you're looking at a blueprint in work item view it now has the blue line and explanation text This item is a Blueprint as it has always been in old-school blueprints.
- Add Custom Items as Subitems From Right-Click Menu In Gantt Chart
Now, if you right-click a task in the table portion of Gantt chart and select Add subitem you access the context creation menu and can add a standard subtask, or any available task-based subitem.ย Before this update, you could only add a standard subtask from this menu.
- Time Tracking More Visible When Using the New Header โฐ
If you have the new header enabled from Labs, you'll now see a timer when you're time tracking at the top of your workspace, just to the left of the search bar.
Fixes
- Task Titles Disappeared Randomly In Calendar View ๐
A bug occurred in certain accounts which meant some task titles did not appear on the relevant bars in Calendar view. This happened in Month, Quarter, and Year zoom levels, and if you scrolled through time task names would appear and vanish at random. It was quite confusing but we've fixed it.
- Relevant Tasks Filtered Out Incorrectly in Old Table view and Gantt Chart
If you had both project and task filters applied in old Table view or Gantt chart, all tasks were hidden regardless of whether or not they should be. This only affected some accounts and is fixed now.

Why is it that items can be only added to tasks and not to folders and projects like in the table view, can this be added? also some other options that right click table view has is not available in gantt chart. We mostly use Gantt Chart as table view, we use extra wide screens. So it makes sense that all functionality of (new) table view is available in Gantt Chart view
